DIT Drum Discharge Glove Box

The drum charging station is not only unique because it features innovative solutions, but also because it is a single unit, eliminating the need to manage two structures that interact with each other.

In some cases, managing two skids for drum charging can be inconvenient and lead to significant space issues.

Since the space required is reduced the pistons that lift the drums into the chamber can be doubled. This configuration gives the lifter more solidity and fluidity, and the base structure, equipped with wheels and brakes, allows the entire unit to be moved easily.

We also added a third glove inside the chamber providing access from the side as well ensuring better ergonomics during operations inside the chamber. Extracting bags from drums becomes much easier, as does reaching hard-to-access points during decontamination phases.

Main features of the new drum charging system:

• 2 black EPDM gloves on the front glass, 1 black EPDM glove on the side glass
• Differential Pressure Indicator (DPI)

• 3/4″ ball valve for nitrogen (N2)
• 3″ valve for air exhaust
• 2 HEPA H14 filters
• 8” canister for bag-out, with continuous liner
• Antistatic LDPE sleeve for the connection between the chamber and the discharge point

• Pneumatic drum tipper to allow easy connection of the drum with the double iris interface
