The
COIRA TIP system is a revolutionary patented device for containment transfer
of dry powders and granules to 500 nanograms per cubic meter. The system is fully
automatic, very simple and offers a level of containment never obtained before
without the use of a glove box
FEATURES:
Space saving designoccupies very little vertical area, especially compared
to a glove box. Almost no parts to replace because of wear. Fastest connection
and transfer time of any system (takes only seconds to operate). Easy cleaning:
built-in CIP of entire unit. Economical to purchase and employ

How it Works |
Loading:
System is loaded from a drum or bin lifter to any other drum, bin or process
equipment

Docking:
The bin or drum valve is docked air-tight to the TIP.

Containment:
Valve cover is removed out of the product stream. Then the annular ring is engaged
to the valve seal underside, joining the valve to the TIP outlet. The valve cover
and outlet surfaces are totally sealed behind the annular ring.

Transfer:
The bin or drum valve is automatically opened. The product transfers though the
TIP without contaminating the valve outlet or the valve cover. |

Reassemble:
The bin valve is closed. Then the annular ring is lowered and the clean valve
cover is placed back on the valve outlet. The product has automatically transferred
to 500 nanograms containment per cubic meter |
