The
COIRA air purge system is a state-of-the-art high containment transfer device
for dry powders and granules. The system is the quickest and most economical method
of containment when three to five micro-grams per cubic meter are needed. |

How it Works |

|
|
Loading:
System is loaded from a drum or bin lifter to any other drum, bin or process
equipment
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Transfer:
The bin or drum valve and the bottom air-purge system valve are opened. The product
transfers from "A" to "B".
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Cleaning (purge):
After transfer, both butterfly valves close. The vacuum port valve opens up and
the entire unit is air washed from specially located holes in the air purge system.
All debris are sucked out of the system and the vacuum port closes.
