About COIRA:
When COIRA was founded fifteen years ago, they led the way by developing a new style of butterfly valve which used clamp band technology to hold the valve parts together. This innovation helped introduce a new standard of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) around the world by allowing valves to be quickly and easily removed from the equipment for thorough cleaning. The advantages of the systems were quickly recognized and adopted by both customers and machine builders. Of course, such success has led to imitation, but nobody has equaled the quality and standards of the COIRA system.
